Preservation LINK partners with the Harvey B. Gantt Center and Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools

In the Fall 2011, the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture partnered with Preservation LINK, Inc. (PLI) to bring PLI’s Visual Literacy Workshop curriculum to students within, 4th grade classrooms at Bruns Academy and University Park Creative Arts Elementary School.

While engaging students in the complete process of art making, this project also included creative and narrative writing, reviews and critiques of artwork, and academic, personal and social exploration. Read more here
