Social Media Revolution V.2

During my years of personal and professional work, I’ve seen youth individually and collectively use media to share how they make meaning of experiences in school, at home, or in the neighborhood. Their experiences are now, more than ever, being conveyed through social media. Thus, using social media in media arts education provides an awesome opportunity to engage pre-teens and teens in activities that promote positive self-image, media literacy, social activism, and college readiness.
